A mega trip to South Africa

South Africa is the paradise of the world, a combination of amazing animals and breathtaking terrains. After leaving this fruitful land 10 years ago I have decided to go back and enjoy myself!

Visit Penguin’s Beach
Visit Green Market Square
Eat Dinner at the V&A Waterfront
Visit Robben Island
Climb up Table Mountain
Drive along the Wine Route
Check out the beaches
Go to the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens
Drive along Chapmans Peak
Go to Cape Point
Visit World of Birds Wildlife Sanctuary and Animal Park
Hermanus and Kleinmond
Fly from Cape Town to Johannesburg
Go out and party in Pretoria?
Drive to Sun City and spend the day in the Lost City (and sleep there)
Go Quad-Biking, do Archery and then drive back to Pretoria
Drive to Hazyview near the Kruger National Park via Pilgrims Rest & Explore
Go to God’s Window
Go to Bourke’s Luck Potholes
View the Three Rondawels / Three Sisters
See The Mighty Berlin Falls
Safari in the Kruger National Park
Go on a traditional dinner and Night Safari in the Kruger National Park
Safari in the Kruger National Park
Explore the surrounds (Eastern Transvaal) and check out the Big Swing
Picnic at Mac Mac Pools
Maybe go horse riding?
Drive to Swaziland and maybe spend the night there (Malkerns and Mbabane the capital)
Drive back to Pretoria
Visit the Union Buildings and Gardens
Visit the Voortrekker Monument
Go see the Cradle of Humankind
Eat, drink, playa and gamble and spend the rest of the day/night at Monte Casino

I am so excited that I just can’t wait.

For the last couple of years, every destination has been an attempt to cover more ground in the world, to learn more cultures, to eat different ethnic foods and overall just to enjoy the scenery.

Above all else I really love the animals and I wonder in the years to come if they will still be there for us to enjoy. These magnificent creatures all part of the idyllic land captivate you in a way that is almost indescribable. Most of all I look forward to cooking and eating under the starry night sky. There is a saying that I truly believe in:

You can take a person out of Africa, but you cannot take Africa out of them

It will always feel like home and no matter where you are, when you hear stories about it, see movies of it or even eat food that reminds you of it. You always reminisce.

I hope to be able to update you on my experiences from there and tell you of my adventures.
